This Privacy Policy explains how Roth Technical Consulting, LLC handles information associated with the Paint-by-Number Studio website and software.
Information processed by the desktop application
Ordinary paint-by-number conversion is performed locally on the user’s Windows computer. Roth Technical Consulting, LLC does not receive the photographs or project files used for ordinary local processing.
If a user deliberately invokes an optional AI-assisted feature, the selected image, instructions, and related request data are transmitted to the configured AI service. These features require a customer-provided API key and are subject to the AI provider’s terms and privacy practices.
Website information
The website may record aggregate page visits and installer downloads. The application’s analytics design stores daily counters without names or email addresses. Cloudflare, as the hosting and security provider, may independently process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, request timestamps, and security events to deliver and protect the website.
Purchases
Payments will be processed by Stripe. Roth Technical Consulting, LLC will receive transaction details needed to fulfill and support a purchase, but does not directly store complete payment-card numbers. Stripe’s privacy policy applies to information processed through Stripe.
Feedback and refund communications
If you contact us, we may retain your name, email address, message, purchase reference, and technical information for customer service, fraud prevention, and legal recordkeeping.
Cookies and local storage
The website may use limited browser storage to avoid counting repeated page loads during the same browsing session. Stripe and Cloudflare may use cookies or similar technology necessary for payments, security, and service operation.
Sharing and sale of information
We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers when necessary to host the website, process payments, deliver software, provide requested AI functionality, prevent abuse, comply with law, or protect legal rights.
Data retention and security
Information is retained only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, contractual and accounting records, dispute resolution, security, and legal obligations. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Children
The website and software are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
